Native & Non-Native Florida Plants

Lorah Park's Derm Project

This project will introduce students to native and non-native plants that grow in Florida. The students will learn that the majority of Florida crops are non-native in origin.

During this unit of study students will explore Websites to learn about native plants in our region, create PowerPoint presentations and as a final project: design a butterfly garden consisting of Native Florida plants.
